HAGBERG, a Latvian real estate development, construction, and management company, has successfully completed two landscaping projects in Riga with co-financing from the Riga Municipality. These projects have significantly improved the surrounding area of two residential complexes managed by HAGBERG, contributing to the well-being of the community, and developing an aesthetic and sustainable living space in the urban environment.
The improvement projects have been implemented within the framework of the contest "Riga City Municipality Co-financing for Renovation of Residential Houses and Improvement of Attached Land in 2023-2024", under the programme "Territorial Improvement Project". The adjacent areas of the apartment complexes in Riga, Kantora iela 87 k-1/k-2 and Ģertrūdes iela 62 were developed.
At 87 k-1 and 87 k-2 Kantora Street, a waste bin made of FSC®-certified timber was installed to match the exterior and aesthetics of the buildings, confirming the values of both the client and the contractor - quality and a sustainable approach. The total cost of this project is EUR 8129.92. The City of Riga co-financed 50% of the attributable project costs.
A children's playground was installed in the courtyard of the apartment building at 62 Ģertrūdes Street, promoting a safe and engaging environment for children to play and explore, as well as a waste bin, bench and bicycle rack, encouraging environmentally friendly mobility and active lifestyles. Total cost: €10272.57. The Riga City Council also co-financed 50% of the project's expenses.
HAGBERG is grateful to the Riga City Council for its invaluable support in the implementation of these projects. The improvement projects are in line with HAGBERG's core values of quality, modern approach and respect for the environment. The company will continue to work with municipalities and other stakeholders to continue to create quality and functional living spaces.
