In December 2021, construction began on the HAGBERG Learning Centre, which will meet zero-energy criteria, have zero CO2 emissions and be equipped with a heat pump and solar panels. The 1200 square metre, two-storey high building has undergone general construction work, interior repairs and the installation of utilities.
The main objective of the Learning centre is the development of staff competences and the sustainability of human resources. The premises will not only be used for the daily routine of the administration staff, but also for training and lectures to ensure continuous development, which is reflected in the quality of HAGBERG's services.
"The Learning centre will be built in accordance with the principles of sustainability - we will build it ourselves and manage it ourselves, without consuming unnecessary natural resources. We plan to implement this "green practice" approach in other future projects," says Ivars Lukaševičs, the owner of the company.
