HAGBERG continues to develop the Dzilnupes residential village

HAGBERG continues to develop the residential village in Dzilnuciems, offering new, high-quality and energy-efficient rental apartments in Mārupe Municipality. The expansion of the Dzilnupes village is a continuation of the successfully completed first construction phase, which has already proven itself as a sought-after place to live in the suburbs, attracting long-term tenants to all six of the originally built houses. In the first phase of Dzilnupes, 24 apartments with a total area of 3000 m2 were built. In the second phase, it is planned to build 52 apartments with a total area of 3500 m2. Currently, the first 20 apartments are available to tenants.
Starting in April, tenants will have access to five two-story buildings, each with four apartments with private terraces or balconies. The new offer includes various layouts – from two-room to four-room apartments – to meet different lifestyle needs. Part of the modern and sustainable concept is also a car park equipped with the possibility of installing electric car charging points.

This project revives and completes a development plan that was put on hold due to the economic crisis, in which HAGBERG saw potential due to its location. As part of the project, forest undergrowth restoration work has been carried out in the area and more than 100 trees and shrubs have been planted, creating a green and attractive environment for residents and promoting the restoration of natural resources. The developer's goal is not only to offer high-quality residential building solutions, but also to adhere to the principles of sustainable development, creating a harmonious balance between modern living space and nature.
The project was designed by architect Guntis Ziņģis, who has collaborated with HAGBERG before, being the architect of the first six houses in the Dzilnupes village and also designing the HAGBERG office and training center project. The buildings are functional and aesthetic, combining Scandinavian minimalism with solutions appropriate to Latvia's climatic conditions.
